I am very excited today because I have managed to organise myself and post a few pics of behind the scenes
textile prints. Steve from Screenhaus has been printing my fabrics for the last 12 months. The quality of his printing is superb and the colour matching has been so accurate. The process includes creating all artwork and designs in illustrator which I do in my sunny home studio on the northern beaches, very lucky, I know. Then the films are made from this artwork and exposed onto large screens for hand printing the textile base cloth. This base cloth is usually a natural blend of silk, cotton or linens.

Here are some of my newest designs I have been working on over the past weeks. I am so thrilled to be able to have the time to still create and design, having a beautiful 9week old baby. Of course I don't get nearly as much done as I used to be able to but I truly believe in making and finding the time, without the ravel of excuses which pop into our heads, only if we let them!
The top above is inspired by aquatic shapes and colours, while the little red dress has a print of tulips and bees. I am doing this particular print in all different colour ways for winter.
Black with Beige Print
Stone Pink with Black Print
White ivory with black print.
My friends at Screenhaus are printing today! So I can't wait to receive the new printed fabrics. I will keep you ''POSTED''!
